This is a 4-photo series that aims to combat ideas of colonization, by demonstrating the strength and resiliency of Indigenous peoples through aspiring images of Indigenous existence outside isolated and enclosed reservation environments. These photos speak upon Angeleah's experience as an Indigenous woman, learning to navigate in world designed to eliminate her people's cultural and traditional means of life through efforts of colonization, assimilation and continuous acts of genocide.
Each photo is printed with a matte finish on a 12 x 18 foam board.
