Karen Fleming Native Crafts

Karen Flemming is an Inuk artisan born and raised in Ottawa. She enjoys working with natural materials that speak to her, focusing on beaded jewellery and sealskin items. Karen has learned much of her craft from the local community as well as attending workshops.

Through trial and error, Karen uses her creative mind to craft original pieces.The cultural significance, as well as the hard work that goes into each piece, is of great importance to her, which she hopes her clients will appreciate.

As a small independent business, Karen appreciates Indigenous Marketplace as an avenue to reach new audiences.
