Miskwaa Designs

Miskwaa Designs is a small Ottawa-based business which sells hand-crafted jewelry, beadwork, original art and prints created by Michi Saagiig Nishnaabe artist Anna Heffernan. She is a member of Curve Lake First Nation, originally from Lakefield, Ontario. Anna paints, draws and beads as a way of connecting with her Nishnaabe heritage and expressing the knowledge she has been given. More of her work can be found on Instagram @miskwaadesigns.
