Aurora Jade
Aurora Jade is a Plains Cree woman and has been a singer,songwriter, performer, visual artist and crafts person professionally since the age of 9 years old. She has performed in various musical acts across the country and her visual art has had many gallery showings across Canada. Aurora grew up in the pow-wow and festival circuit where she had a chance to hone her craft. Her artistic vision is to infuse psychedelic art with indigenous fine art through various mediums and acrylic. Her crafts are always hand made with no machines and come from natural and high quality materials. She is currently a workshop facilitator and mural artist in the Ottawa region.
