Titi's Treasures / Trudy Metcalfe-Coe

I am Inuk originally from Nain, Nunatsiavut now living in Ottawa for over thirty years. I have always been artistic and spend much of my time sewing Inuit jackets and quilts. I also do beading and make seal skin jewelry. Crafting and cooking are both things I enjoy immensely and I am happy to share my creations with others either through sales or teaching. I started making seal skin jewelry only in the past couple of years. I
learned some skills from fellow Inuit community members and then I use my imagination from there. I am also a Chef and I have been a participant of the SSIF for the previous three years and won The Peoples Choice Award in 2019 for my Maple Glazed Smoked Arctic Char.
