Smudging is a sacred ritual of the Native American people. It is believed that the four gifts, Sweetgrass, Cedar, Sage and Tobacco were given by Mother Earth to the people for cleansing, purifying and providing balance and good energy through the smoke of burning herbs. It is said that as the smoke surrounds you, you have entered into one with the herbs and your soul becomes quiet and at peace with the world around you.
