Join Trudy Metcalfe-Coe in this workshop from our 2020 release of the Summer Solstice Indigenous Festival; Virtual Edition!
Trudy is Inuk originally from Nain, Nunatsiavut now living in Ottawa for over thirty years. She has always been artistic and spends much of her time sewing Inuit jackets and quilts. She also makes sealskin jewelry and uses beadwork in many of her projects. Crafting and cooking are both things she enjoys immensely and is happy to share her creations with others either through sales or teaching. She started making sealskin jewelry in the past couple of years and learned her skills from fellow Inuit community members as well as adding her own imagination into her craft.
This package will include all the supplies you'll need to partake in this workshop.
