This story is about the Annishinabe children and how colonization caused to break their families. At times children would hide underneath the school house crying. The Little Native Ponies could hear their quiet crying and would come towards the school house. The children could hear them approaching and sounds of their knickers. The ponies would stay with them till they felt safe and stopped crying.
