Michael Blackstock is an independent Indigenous scholar, poet, and artist from Gitxsan Nation in Canada. He is also a retired forester, mediator and past member of UNESCO's Expert Advisory group on Water and Cultural Diversity. Michael co-founded the Blue Ecology Institute Foundation in 2021.
