storytelling...version from Greek mythos:

After receiving word from the oracle that his future grandson would be responsible for his death, king Acrisius imprisoned then childless Danaë in an isolated tower. It was there that Zeus appeared to her in the form of a golden rain resulting in a conception. Rather than invoke the anger of the Furies by committing outright murder—he cast them both out into the sea in a wooden chest tempting fate to do his bidding. Dictys, a kind fisherman recovered the babe and mother raising Perseus as his own. His brother was King Polydectes who pursued Danaë; she did not return his affection. Perseus accepted the task to retrieve the head of gorgon Medusa in order to liberate his mother. On his journey he encountered Andromeda whom he rescued from the sea beast Cetus and later married her, becoming grandparents of the future Hercules! In the end the original prophecy was fulfilled when Perseus tossed a discus at an athletic gathering which accidentally caused the death of King Acrisius.

...did you know Hercules is also a Menzel constellation family!
